PFC 07
Race Compound

Race Use Only

Performance Friction's newest compound has higher initial bite and higher average torque than any other Performance Friction compound.
PFC 07 compound has some friction rise with temperature for the most severe applications. The release and modulations characteristics are second to none. Very low abraded disc wear with a fine micronic polished disc finish. Despite its considerable performance, 07 will have slightly better wear than 05. This compound demands the most from vehicle setup and is designed to handle the most severe applications.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
Call to inquire,

Good rotor wear rates

Popular uses include:
- NASCAR
- GT/ ALMS
- Extreme High Grip &
High Downforce applications

PFC 06
Race Compound

Race Use Only

PFC's Endurance Sportscar compound.
PFC 06 compound pads are very similar to PFC 01 for both bite and torque. Excellent release and control with very low wear. Very low abraded disc wear with a "powdery type" transfer layer. 06 pads are an excellent alternative to other brands of endurance compounds but much higher performance. This will be a leading choice for endurance racing and a trackday pad.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
Call to inquire,

Popular uses include:
- Endurance Sports Car
-General Purpose Track and Club Day use.

PFC 05
Race Compound

Race Use Only

PFC 05 Compound has higher bite than 01 compound with flat torque and good release characteristics. Virtually no torque rise with temperature.
Release and modulation characteristics are second to none with wear slightly better than 03 compound.
This compound demands the most from the vehicle setup and is designed to handle the most severe applications.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
Call to inquire,

PFC 83
Race Compound

Race Use Only
The 83 compound has a tremendous history of success.  83 has an extremely high level of bite that is capable of withstanding the most arduous of conditions.  Very popular choice for Nascar, GT's and Touring Cars where a high level of bite and ability to withstand extreme conditions without fade are important requirements.  The lifespan of the discs can be compromised with 83 compound which has led the way for the development of new compounds that have similar performance but increased pad and disc longevity.

PFC 90
Race Compound

Race Use Only
90 was developed at the same time as 93 and is very similar with lower torque output. It also has a higher wear rate under super severe service. Recommended and preferred for Asphalt Late Model Stocks, Pro Stock and Limited Late Model type race cars. Used by the Bob Bondurant High Performance School of Driving. Allowing three times the pad and rotor life, ultimate torque close to 93. This compound teaches drivers braking finesse and pedal feel. Its modulation characteristics also make it forgiving. Recommended by drivers of Winston Cup and European Touring Cars. Ideal combination with 93 on the front. Highly recommended as a general purpose race pad . Preferred by IndyCar and Indy Lights drivers for one mile ovals because of the finesse characteristics of settling the car without over slowing.

PFC 93
Race Compound

Race Use Only
Developed after the 83 compound. Improvements include: better release characteristic; great improvement for trailing into a corner or modulation at threshold braking; kinder to disc; polishes disc smooth even under severe conditions. Racers claim three times the disc life. Pad life of the 93 compound is slightly better than 83. 93 comes on quicker and has a flatter torque curve - a plus in some applications. 93 has a progressive torque curve with a slight rise in friction within the braking event.  This provides the driver with the confidence to brake alate knowing the pad will not suffer from fade.  93 is effective throughout the tmperature range, however cooling is recommended as not to thermally deteriorate the disc.
